Disney Dining Plans to Feature More Beverage Options in 2018

Based on Guest feedback, the Disney Dining Plans included with 2018 Magic Your Way vacation packages will be expanded, offering more beverage options for Guests to choose from when enjoying quick-service and table-service meals. New options include non-alcoholic premium beverages – like frozen specialty beverages, teas, and specialty coffees – and the majority of alcoholic beverages (available to Guests age 21 and over) served at participating restaurants.
The number of meals will remain the same for each plan, and beginning in 2018, expanded beverage options may be ordered with each meal included in that dining plan:
  • Quick Service Dining Plan – 2 quick-service meals per person/night;
  • Disney Dining Plan – 1 quick-service meal and 1 table-service meal per person/night;
  • Deluxe Dining Plan – 3 quick-service or table-service meals per person/night.

Please, note that snacks and refillable resort mugs will not include alcoholic beverages.

2018 Magic Your Way vacation packages with Disney dining plans that include these new beverage options, along with pricing adjustments, are available now for Guests booking Walt Disney World Resort reservations beginning January 1, 2018.

Which beverage options are included for quick-service and table-service meals in Disney dining plans?

Single service non-alcoholic beverages – including soft drinks, brewed coffee, teas, bottled beverages, frozen specialty beverages (i.e. slushes, smoothies, lemonades, etc.) and specialty coffees – as well as the majority of beer, wine and mixed drinks served at participating quickservice and table-service restaurants will be included.

Can a Guest redeem all of their beverage entitlements at once?
No. One beverage may be ordered with each meal included in the Guest’s dining plan.
Can a Guest choose to use their snack entitlements for alcoholic or premium non-alcoholic beverages?

Alcoholic beverages will not be able to be redeemed with snack entitlements or with refillable resort mugs. Select premium non-alcoholic beverages will be able to be redeemed with a snack entitlement, as is the current process today.

Are Disney dining plan options changing for children?
The options for children remain the same. Guests age 3-9 must order from the children’s meal options where available.

Will the price of the Disney dining plans increase?
Yes. Disney periodically evaluates pricing and makes adjustments based on a variety of market factors.
