About a week ago the Universal Orlando Resort was celebrating the grand opening of the new Volcano Bay water park. While that was undoubtedly exciting, the resort isn’t stopping there — there’s much more on the way for 2018 and beyond. As previously announced, the brand-new Universal’s Aventura Hotel will officially open in 2018 and will offer tech savvy accommodations. Using the provided in-room tablet, Guests will be able to control many of the room’s features, like the TV, temperature, and more.
The hotel will also have a virtual reality game room and dive-in movie experience with an underwater speaker system in the hotel’s resort-style pool. Stay tuned on Orlando Theme Park News and Universal’s official blog to learn more about other high-tech amenities that will be available at this sleek and modern hotel.
Right now, you can get a sneak peek inside Universal’s Aventura Hotel with this 360 VR tour around the hotel (try it with VR goggles or Google Cardboard), including the pool, a room and Universal’s first ever rooftop bar.
Reservations are now open for stays beginning August 2018. Current rates start at as low as $97 per night for a seven-night stay and $116 per night for a four-night stay.
