Many of our clients always want to find out as soon as possible what their actual room number is at their Walt Disney World Resort. There are many sites on the internet where you can find the actual location of your room once you have your room number. While you can request specific areas and even room numbers, these are only requests based on availability at the resort.
(If you have any special room requests please make sure to select them 60 days prior to your stay via the “My Disney Experience” using the Online Check-In option.)
If you haven’t done “Online Resort Check in”, when you first arrive at The Walt Disney World Resort, you will first go to your resort hotel and check in at the front desk. At Check In, the Resort Cast Member will hand your welcome folder to you as well as your MagicBands (if you didn’t have them shipped to you). The Cast member will then make sure that everything is in order with your stay and you will receive a Resort map showing where your room is located as well as the Room Number. If you room is not yet ready, they will ask for your cell phone number for the reservation, and text you when your room is available.
You can also do Online Resort Check-In beginning 60 days prior to your arrival date.
If you’ve already done “Online Resort Check-In”,then when you arrive, simply head to the Online Check-In Desk, where your Welcome Folder and MagicBand will be waiting. Show your valid photo I.D., complete your check-in and you’re on your way!
We STRONGLY suggest you make sure all of your Magic Bands are active and the Dining Plan is active on them prior to heading to the parks or to have a meal while waiting for your room. There is nothing more frustrating than heading right to the pars and finding out there is an issue with a Magic Band. If this should happen, head immediately to the closest Guest Relations Window to have the issue fixed.
