This week our Partners at Orlando Theme Park News took a long look at Universal Orlando’s Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. What follows is there excellent photo essay of the the resort, it’s current condition, and their impressions of the resort area.

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is a beautiful hotel located just steps away from Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. This themed resort includes a large pool, a modern convention center linked to the meeting space of Loews Royal Pacific Resort, direct boat transportation to the theme parks and CityWalk, numerous interesting food & beverage offerings, and more.

The Strong Water Tavern is a great place to relax after a log day spent in the parks:

As you might have noticed, Island of Adventure can be seen from multiple areas of the hotel:
While many areas of this resort look great and are filled with details, we couldn’t help but notice that other areas look very bare, such as this corridor.
A few paintings would improve the look of this area:
